Title:  LAMTA 109
Description:  A Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority train of P865 cars rounds the curve at 1st Street and Pine Avenue in downtown Long Beach as it begins its trip to 7th Street / Metro Center near downtown Los Angeles. This is the MTAs "Blue Line," the first line built in MTAs light rail system, opening in 1990. VMR 120 B
Title:  VMR 120 B
Description:  As with many big cities, the sports complexes in Phoenix, Arizona, are served by light rail. Valley Metro Rail light rail vehicle 120 B (built by Kinkisharyo International) winds its way down Jefferson Street in front of Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball franchise. On this December 1st, 2012, the weather is pleasant. But during the summer baseball season, the stadiums roof is usually closed to prevent the hot desert sun from making things unbearable for both players and fans.

LAMTA 142
Title:  LAMTA 142
Description:  A Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority train rounds the curve at 1st Street and Pine Avenue in downtown Long Beach as it begins its trip to 7th Street / Metro Center near downtown Los Angeles. This is the MTAs "Blue Line," the first line built in MTAs light rail system, opening in 1990. For the most part, the "Blue Line follows the last operating Pacific Electric line - the PEs Long Beach line ceased operations in April 1961 (and I am an old enough codger that I remember riding it!).
