| Union Pacific intermodal train ISALB 20 crosses the Los Angeles River on its way to Long Beach, California. This train ran down the UPs line along the east bank of the river before crossing, while the former Santa Fe, now Amtrak line follows the western bank of the river (note the old cantilver signal just ahead of the 7769). Along with the river, two other iconic LA landmarks are visible in this shot: The Sears building on the right, and city hall in the distance on the left. |
