BN 1871 - Marysville, WA - 9/18/79 Editors Pick!
The bell atop the short hood of Burlington Northern GP9 1871 is a dead giveaway that this is a former Northern Pacific engine (NPs 248). The local gendarme doesnt even look up as this single car train (not counting the caboose) passes by on its way south in Marysville, Washington, on September 18, 1979.
