DRR 1
Title:  DRR 1
Description:  Disneyland Railroad 4-4-0 #1, the "C.K. Holliday," was constructed by the Walt Disney Studio in 1954 and entered service on the Santa Fe & Disneyland Railroad at Disneyland on Opening Day, July 17, 1955. The 36" gauge engine is named for Cyrus Kurtz Holliday, founder of the Santa Fe Railroad in 1859. It was designed to look like Walt Disney's "Lilly Belle" 1/8th scale live-steam model locomotive, which was the inspiration for Disneyland's railroad operation. DRR #1 underwent refurbishment in 2013 and was back in service in January 2016 - just in time for the temporary closing of the railroad due to the construction of the park's new Star Wars Land. The railroad will be rerouted as part of the construction. The engine was on display at the Fullerton train station, just a few miles north of Disneyland, for the annual Fullerton Railroad Days celebration.

Description:  Virginia & Truckee 4-4-0 18 "Dayton" as painted to represent Union Pacific 119. Built by Central Pacific in 1873, V&T 18 operated in limited service late in its career, and was out of service in January 1938. Sold to Paramount Studios in 1937, the engine was used in the film "Union Pacific." Loaned to the UP for their Golden Spike Centennial Train in 1969 (as seen here). This locomotive subsequently ended up at the Nevada State Railroad Museum, where it was restored to its 1882 appearance.
