AMTK 810
Title:  AMTK 810
Description:  Amtrak "San Diegan" #574 arrives in Fullerton, California, in November 1993. Leading this San Diego-bound train is Amtrak Dash 8-40BP 810, pulling a string of six Amfleet cars and a Heritage baggage car, with Amtrak F40PH 293 on the rear. AMTK 810 was built by GE in June 1993, and was still a novelty on the "San Diegans," which were normally pulled by EMD F40PHs.

AMTK 184
Title:  AMTK 184
Description:  The big news in Fullerton on Friday, December 28th, 2012, was that the westbound "Southwest Chief" was running nearly 13 hours late, and had a BNSF SD70MAC on the point. The surprise that evening, though, was just before #3 arrived, #4, the eastbound "Southwest Chief," arrived (on time!) with one of Amtraks Heritage diesels, P42DC 184, on the point.

Title:  AMTK 406
Description:  The Amtrak 40th Anniversary Exhibit Train sits at the station in San Diego, California, on December 3; 2011. The power has been reversed, as the train was towed into town the night before behind Pacific Surfliner #582, but when it leaves San Diego on December 4th the power will run around to the other end and Dash 8-40BP 822 will power the train (since 406 is an unpowered NPCU, rebuilt from F40PH 406). Title:  AMTK 842
Description:  A C&NW P42? It appears that someone has redone the C&NW's logo for the nose of the California Republican Party's "Victory Express 1996," seen here gliding to a stop in Fullerton, CA, for a spate of speeches as the candidates head south to San Diego and the GOPs National Convention.
