Title:  IHB 1504 - Hammond IN - 09/24/21
Description:  Indiana Harbor Belt had four SW1500s (so far) rebuilt by Railpower Technologies into RP15BDF natural gas-powered locomotives in the early 2000s. Seen at the railroad’s Gibson Yard, IHB 1504 and 1514 are the former IHB SW1500s 9205 and 9202, which were built in the late 1960s. On an adjacent track, and visible in the background, is IHB GP38-2 3800, wearing its new Veterans paint scheme. IHB 3800 was built as Penn Central 8066, later becoming Conrail 8066, and then Norfolk Southern 5274 before being acquired by the IHB. (Hammond, Indiana - September 24, 2021). AMTK X2000
Title:  AMTK X2000
Description:  After being on display at Los Angeles Union Passenger Terminal, a special Amtrak train hauled the Swedish X2000 (also known as X2) trainset to the next stop on its tour of the U.S., as the train departed for Phoenix, Arizona. These trains, constructed by Kalmar Verkstad in Kalmar, Sweden, operated on Sweden's Statens Järnvägar (Swedish State Railways), feature tilting technology for high speed operation. Wearing temporary Amtrak markings, Statens Järnvägar control car 2511 brings up the rear of the special as it heads east on the SP's old Sunset Line.

Description:  A train of Kawasaki R68A cars rolls into the island platforms on the center two tracks (of four) at the IND Brighton Line’s Church Avenue Station in Flatbush, one of the stops for the B Line trains (which do not stop at all stations). B Line trains connect 145th Street to Coney Island’s Stillwell Avenue, and this particular train is led by NYCT 5174. (Brooklyn, New York – December 3, 2020)

Description:  A pair of Danish-built IC3 self-propelled train sets, on loan from Israel Railways, tested on various Amtrak routes in 1996. Amtrak 7003, operating as "San Diegan" #577 (San Diego to Los Angeles) is seen here passing one of the few remaining orange groves in the city of Orange, California, on July 27, 1996. (The orange grove has since fallen to progress when the Metrolink station, whose platforms are visible behind the train, expanded their parking lot.)

Description:  Southern Pacific Camera Car (aka Simulator Car) 8799 is a former Krauss-Maffei ML-4000 SP 9113 (nee-9010). The engine had its prime mover removed and the front end was rebuilt to house movie cameras used to film various SP mainlines for the roads full-motion locomotive cab simulator, used to train new engineers. This engine is currently being restored to its original appearance, details of which can be found on the locomotives web site: HTTP://sp9010.ncry.org. The car is coupled to SSW SD45T-2 9300 for power while they do some filming near Tracy, California, on October 29; 1979.

The car is coupled to a brake sled built on the frame of an old SP FM H24-66.
