On February 26, 2006, I photographed Soo Line GP40 2064 in Canadian Pacifics engine facility in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Eight years, seven months and six days later I photographed it again, this time in Granite City, Illinois. Built in December 1968 and now owned by Respondek Railroad Corporation, but not yet wearing the RRC reporting mark, this engine still retains the colors of original owner Milwaukee Road. |
