In 2011, almost 35,000,000 riders used this station. A 4 Train (Lexington Avenue Express), made up of R142 cars (built by Bombardier in the early 2000s), comes to a stop on its way north to Woodlawn. This station is a labrynth of stairways, walkways and bridges, and taking the time to stop and watch the various surges of commuters as trains arrive and depart is fascinating in itself. |
