These are the original "Blue Line" cars (though no longer in their original paint), built by Sumitomo/Nippon Sharyo in 1989. |

For the most part, the "Blue Line follows the last operating Pacific Electric line - the PEs Long Beach line ceased operations in April 1961 (and I am an old enough codger that I remember riding it!). |
