Metrolink train 656 accelerates out of a scheduled stop at Orange on its way to Oceanside, California. On the headend today is F59PH 860, one of two units (and the only F59PH) painted in the new scheme. This is the third paint scheme worn by the 860 since it was first painted by EMD in July 1992 for delivery to Metrolink. (The first passenger car is one leased from Salt Lake City's Utah Transit Authority pending delivery of Metrolink's new Korean-built cars.) |
